Colorsteel & Corrugated Iron Roofing

We have a wealth of experience in roof restorations and can restore many different roof types, we will bring your Colorsteel or corrugated iron roof back to life again using the best products available on the market. Restoring your roofs appearance and making it look like new again will not only restore your roof and improve its appearance, but it will make it last longer, improve the value of your home and ensure that it is weather tight.

Iron Roof Restoration Process

Step 1. Assessment of your roof and our professional advice on the condition of your roof along with a comprehensive quote detailing the cost and scope of the work required.

Step 2. Your roof is checked over and any iron or flashings are replaced where necessary. All nails and screws are checked and any that are loose or missing are replaced or screwed / hammered back as required. Cleaning is then undertaken to get your roof prepared for painting, this is done by moss treating the roof and thoroughly water blasting to remove any dirt and pollution from the surface.

Step 3. A check of the roof is again undertaken and any areas of surface rust are treated with rust removal treatment. This ensures the final results will last and the entire roof restoration will look revitalised.

Step 4. The primer coat is then applied to the entire roof, this is a vital part of the process and one that is often overlooked, this ensures that the following top coats adhere well to the existing surface and will not blister and peel.

Step 5. The roof is then sprayed with a premium gloss roof paint, we apply two coats of this top coat, so together with the primer coat you have a three coat paint system that provides the best possible durability and colour retention against the weather for many years to come.

Concrete Tile Roofing

There are many alternatives in the market place, however we are a certified applicator of the Equus Chevaline Coating System. We have taken the time to thoroughly research what products are available and the reason we chose the Equus system is simply because it was the best. One of the many reasons for this is because it uses a three coat system that incorporates a sealer coat and then two top coats which is different from many of the other roof coating systems available.

Many other systems on the market simply use one base coat and one top coat, so check and make sure you are getting the best product possible to protect your roof. I believe we can safely say that we apply the best system on the market, giving you the ultimate in roof protection to restore your aged and weathered concrete roof tiles.

Concrete Tile Roof Restoration Process

Step 1. Assessment of your roof and our professional advice on the condition of your roof along with a comprehensive quote detailing the cost and scope of the work required.

Step 2. Preparation is started to get your roof prepared for the coating system, this is done by replacing any cracked or damaged tiles and replacing any rusted iron to valleys or flashings if required.

Step 3. The roof receives a moss treatment followed by a thorough waterblast clean. Repairs are then undertaken to any loose or missing bedding to the ridge tiles. These repairs are undertaken with a modified compound which provides maximum strength and protection against cracking with normal roof movement. The flashings and valleys are checked over and any areas of rust are treated with a rust removal product. These repairs ensure the final results will last and the entire roof restoration will look revitalised.

Step 4. The sealer coat is applied to the roof, this is a vital part of the process and one that is often overlooked, this ensures that the following top coats adhere well to the existing surface and will not blister and peel away from the tile.

Step 5. The concrete tiles are sprayed with the extremely thick Chevaline Coverall Coating System and we apply two heavy coats of this top coat product. Together with the sealer coat it means that you have the best possible coating system protecting your roof from the harsh elements.
